Forts & Dens

Curiosity, Body and movement, Autonomy and self-esteem, Relationships and Communication
Sticks, rocks, string, pinecones, flowers
Inside the forest we will find photographs of different tribal houses and dens, which will bring us a storm of ideas about what it would be like to live in the forest, and how we would build a cabin in the forest.
In this way we will investigate what types of materials can be used to build and imagine what tools they use to create things for the home with natural elements (brooms, doors, ceilings, decorative elements, beds, etc.)
We will decide if we all want to create a place to live in the forest and we will start creating work teams to gather materials. What do we need? What difficulties do we have? We will give shape to our den, both the structure and its accessories and its "garden".
It is possible to introduce questions such as: I would like/wouldn't like to live in the forest because...
We will end the activity with an enchanting story about which was the first cabin of all.
